4.  Peavey T-40 Electric Bass, circa 1980

P-bass stylings as offered by Peavey.  This was their first foray into the wonderful world of electric basses and was a successful venture (as most country bassist of the day would rightfully agree!)  This bass is swamp ash bodied with a "Bi-laminated "(read that, "two piece") maple neck and maple fingerboard.   Two humbucking pickups which morph into single coils as the tone controls are rolled up.  Kind'a neat!   Also features a phase switch (not so neat) and independent volume controls.  If you have been looking for one of these in museum condition, this is it!  Comes with a deluxe wooden (non-original) rectangular hardshell case.  $350.00 New Item !Sold!

Solid Koa with nice figuring, Mahogany neck. Uke is unsigned Click for photos with the exception of label stating its material type, appears to be of Hawaiian origin.  Single back crack which has been repaired.  Finish is original and in good shape, some wear on the top around bridge.  Sounds and plays great, lots of volume and projection, tone to spare!  We love this little Uke!!!  $325.00

4. Circa 1920's "Stella" Banjo-Uke

Very interesting Banjo-Uke, probably from the early 20's.  Maple 7" rim with dual steel banding around lower section. All original nickel plated hooks and nuts, original tuners.  Plating worn on hooks and on parts of the stretcher band, but overall in good condition.  Nice straight maple neck, low action, original black finish is in great shape, recently setup with new bridge, strings, etc.  Sounds great!  A must have at only $125.00 

 

5.  Sandstrom Banjo-Uke, Soprano, 1917

This is only the second one of these fine instruments we have ever seen.   Made by Sandstrom in Oakland California, this instrument has a very cool brass tone ring/rim/head tensioning system.  Four piece burl California Redwood rim, one-piece Burl Redwood arched resonator.  Nice slightly figured maple neck with abalone position markers and inlaid multicolor wood strips running its length.  Original wedge fit brass friction tuners.  Recently setup and in almost museum condition.  Original strap!  Sounds and plays fine!  $289.00    Sold!

 

6.  2004-2005 "Nelson"  Concert Ukulele. 

Solid mahogany with nice figuring, Mahogany neck.  Click for photos Solid aged Adirondak Spruce top, Flamed maple and Padauk bindings, top and back.   Figured Padauk headcap, Figured padauk fingerboard and Mustache bridge with abalone inlay.  Sounds awesome!  Plays great, lots of volume and projection, tone to spare!  A Hand-made one-of-a-kind Uke for only $749.00
